Breast Lift Surgery – Sacramento Breast Revitalization

Women dissatisfied with the downward gravitational pull of their breasts after weight loss, pregnancy and nursing may choose to undergo a Breast Lift procedure. In a Breast Lift the excess skin is removed via an incision around the areola and the remaining skin is then closed. In most cases the areola will be moved higher to accommodate the breasts new position. If the woman is already satisfied with the cup size of her breast, a Breast Lift procedure may be enough to give her the results she desires. However, in some women who feel their breasts have utterly “deflated” or have always been unhappy with the size of their breasts, a Breast Augmentation along with a Breast Lift may be opted for to give the desired results.

We encourage you to read through our Frequently Asked Questions page for more information on Breast Lifts. If you still have questions or would like to speak personally to a board certified plastic surgeon about your individual options, contact Dr. Green today.

Finding The Right Implant Size

One of the best ways you can communicate to your Plastic Surgeon the size of implant you want is to show him pictures of women who have the size that visually you desire. If you have chosen a good Plastic Surgeon he should be well educated and experienced in assessing what size implant that would translate to for you. Bring in several pictures to your consultation to show him, including things you may want to avoid.

Your Plastic Surgeon may have you “try on” different implant sizes to see what feels right on you. A common mistake and something that is very important thing to keep in mind, is that it’s best to avoid getting stuck on an idealized cup size. Try to stay open to what feels best for you. There are many contributing factors to creating an ideal cup size; things to take into account like ribcage size, chest shape and height, and these factors can make a certain cup size on one woman look like an entirely different size on another.

The key thing to remember is to go into your consultation with some idea of what you want as well as an open mind. Don’t get overly attached a cup size just because so and so has that cup size- take the time to find what flatters your body best. This will ensure a happier result. Breast Asymmetry Correction in the New Year

Most women have at least a slight variance in size between their breasts, but it’s generally not noticeable to the naked eye, much less something the requires surgical correction. In some cases, however, when there is a variance of at least a cup size or more, this can become a serious issue. Women with drastically asymmetrical breasts often suffer low self-confidence both in intimate situations and social situations. It can be hard to find clothes that fit well, too.

To improve breast asymmetry there are a couple of different Breast Augmentation options. An implant can be placed in the smaller one to make is the same size as the larger breast or the larger breast can be reduced to the size of the smaller breast. Sometimes two different sized implants can be placed if the patient desires to go larger than the larger breast, while still creating breast symmetry.

If you are tired of feel self-conscious of your unevenly sized breasts, contact our office to schedule a consultation and let us help you start the new year off a little more balanced.

Sacramento Breast Augmentation and Lift

For women interested in enhancing the size of their breasts, breast augmentation is often the answer. For some of these women, however, a breast augmentation alone may not be able to create the ideal look. What breast augmentation can do is increase the size of the breasts and improve the shape of the breasts. What it can’t do is lift breasts which have begun to sag or droop.

There are many things that cause a woman’s breasts to begin to sag such as breast feeding, changes in weight, aging, and genetics. Some of these may cause a women to feel her breasts have “deflated” and a breast augmentation can help to restore lost mass, but a breast augmentation coupled with a breast lift can also create perkier, firmer, more youthful looking breasts.

The best way to determine if a breast augmentation alone, a breast lift alone or a combination breast augmentation is right for you is to set up a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. Contact our office today!
