Breast Asymmetry Correction in the New Year

Most women have at least a slight variance in size between their breasts, but it’s generally not noticeable to the naked eye, much less something the requires surgical correction. In some cases, however, when there is a variance of at least a cup size or more, this can become a serious issue. Women with drastically asymmetrical breasts often suffer low self-confidence both in intimate situations and social situations. It can be hard to find clothes that fit well, too.

To improve breast asymmetry there are a couple of different Breast Augmentation options. An implant can be placed in the smaller one to make is the same size as the larger breast or the larger breast can be reduced to the size of the smaller breast. Prospective patients spend a lot of much needed time energy finding the right Plastic Surgeon and discussing the vast options of the procedure itself, but what about after the procedure? It’s important to keep in mind that, as with any type of surgery, complications may arise that could require an overnight stay.
